The weekly learning edit
Make a New Language Part of Your Week
A language routine can be small and varied. Choose a situation you would like to handle, such as introducing yourself, then practise the words, listening and speaking that go with it.
Choose a language goal you can use
Pick one situation for the week rather than a large vocabulary target. Greeting someone, ordering a snack or describing your family gives each practice session a purpose.
Choose resources at a similar level. Check the language variety, translation support and whether the lesson is suitable for the learner’s age.
Give different skills a turn
Use one session to listen, another to practise words and another to say a few sentences. Repeat material when it is useful rather than adding new lessons simply to fill the calendar.
The collected app chart below offers starting points to investigate. Some tools involve tutors or conversations with other people, so review participation and supervision requirements before choosing one.
Notice what you can do outside the app
At the end of the week, try your chosen situation without following the lesson screen. Keep a note of the words or sounds you want to revisit.
A missed day does not need to become a catch-up marathon. Return to the next short session and adjust the plan around school and other commitments.

|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | 4:30 pm | Listen to a short beginner dialogue | 15 min |
| Wednesday | 4:30 pm | Practise words from the dialogue | 15 min |

Put the plan in your calendar
Replace the bracketed date with the Monday of your chosen week, adjust the activities, and paste this prompt into Magic Generate.
For the week starting Monday [YYYY-MM-DD], create these events: Monday at 4:30 pm: Listen to a short beginner dialogue for 15 min. Wednesday at 4:30 pm: Practise words from the dialogue for 15 min. Saturday at 10:00 am: Try the conversation aloud for 20 min.
Review the proposed dates, times and durations before choosing Add to calendar. Check for overlaps, then publish the calendar if you want your family to follow it. After making changes, republish to update the same shared link.
Follow the step-by-step Magic Generate guide →Is an app streak enough to measure progress?
It can show regular use. Also notice whether you can understand or say something useful without the app guiding every step.

About the sources and this edition
The saved collection covers 11 Sept 2026 to 17 Sept 2026. It targeted Australia, China, the United States and Europe with partial coverage. The sampled European app storefronts are Germany, France and the United Kingdom.
News results have not been promoted to recommendations. This guide presents related stories separately; inclusion does not establish popularity, and headlines may include promotional claims. Unrelated chart entries are omitted. The practical plans are editorial examples, separate from the collected data. No comparison with a previous snapshot establishes growth.
